The name "Xiying" was given to this rainbow bridge because it is located in the Guanyinting Beach Park area, which is also known by locals as "Xiying Shenjing (西瀛勝境)," meaning "The Most Beautiful Place in Xiying" or "Xiying Paradise." The name "Rainbow Bridge" comes from the bridge’s appearance at night, when colorful neon lights illuminate it, creating a rainbow-like effect that reflects on the water’s surface.
